Communication in ERG is considered an actual transverse corporate process involving each individual function.

Communication, intended as both an exchange of information and access to same, is essential to the smooth running of the company and to the daily handling of work.

The company bases its communications system on two important pillars, its institutional website and the intranet.

In 2011, ERG participated once again in the Financial Reporting ‘Oscars’ (Oscar di Bilancio), awarded by FERPI [Federazione Relazioni Pubbliche Italiane, Italian Federation of Public Relations] and was one of the finalists in the Special Prize for Corporate Governance (along with Edison Spa and Telecom Italia Spa); these are companies “that have implemented models of governance that are valid and well-balanced and that have also managed to communicate them effectively.”

The Financial Reporting Oscars, an advanced laboratory for Italian reporting supported by the President of the Republic, "analyses and anticipates the most advanced trends in reporting, also on the basis of international indications such as those of the Global Reporting Initiative".

For several years, ERG has participated in research and surveys carried out by large communication companies that assess its company website, particularly in terms of its online communication and social responsibility.

KWD Webranking 2011 Italy Top100

Webranking Logo  In November 2011, the annual KWD Webranking (previously known as the H&H Webranking) this year has reached its 10th edition in Italy. The research evaluated the online corporate communications of the 101 largest Italian companies by market capitalisation. The study evaluated the English version of corporate websites, excluding commercial sections.

In 2011 ERG has reached the 17th place with 61.75 points out of a possible 100.

KWD (King Worldwide Digital) is an international consultancy specialised in online corporate communications. KWD became the digital division of H&H (Hallvarsson & Halvarsson) in 2010.

The nineth edition of Halvarsson & Halvarsson Webranking Italy Top100 sees the ERG website at the 20th position with a score of 57,5 out of 100.

Compared with 2008 the ERG site improved its ranking by 6 positions, rising from 24th to 18th position, with a score of 56.25 out of 100.

At the end of October 2011, the results of the fourth edition of the  Lundquist CSR Online Awards Italy survey were published on Il Sole 24 ore and on the Lundquist site.

ERG was in the classification for the second time and it ranked at 14th place with 53 points (in 2010, new entry at the 16th place).

Lundquist is a strategic communications consultancy, specialising in online corporate communications. The research activities are dedicated to financial communications, corporate websites and companies' presence in social media channels.

Lundquist Employer Branding Online Awards 2010 Italy 100

The results of the first edition of the Employer Branding Online Awards Italy 100, the first  annual survey about the employer branding on line communication, have been published in January 2011. The employer branding describes how companies are communicating to current and potential employees what makes their corporate culture, environment and benefits special. "A successful employer branding not only is appealing for new talents, but creates value for all the Company, because conveys its brand and its value".
The first edition of this survey sees the ERG website at the 23rd position with a score of 42 out of 100.
