Data and social Indicators

Within a triple bottom line corporate strategy (which integrates economic, environmental and social objectives), data and social indicators represent a set of particularly important and effective tools which allow a qualitative and quantitative measurement of the company’s performance to be carried out.
The reporting principles (e.g. Global Reporting Initiative Guidelines, 2006 version) state that organisations should consider their impact on the socio-environmental system in which they operate.
