ERG and TOTAL express their satisfaction following the go-ahead obtained today
from the European Commission for the creation of TotalErg, the joint venture resulting from the merger between ERG Petroli and TOTAL Italia (press release dated 28 January 2010).
Having received clearance from the Commission, a plan will now be launched for the integration of the two Companies, allowing the joint venture to become operational starting from 1st October next.
